Dèsirèe Houston-Jones

Désirée is the Executive Director – Planning Services for Economic Development Queensland.  She has some 25 years’ professional and management experience with the last 15 years in leadership roles.

Désirée spent 20+ years in the private sector as a planner and development strategy advisor across most development types and with particular interest in large and complex renewal projects, large residential and mixed use developments.

Having moved to the State Government Désirée now leads the planning and development assessment functions across Queensland’s Priority Development Areas.
