SPONSORED BY:
From 2022 the two Sustainable Development categories, Award for Best Sustainable Development – New Buildings and Award for Best Sustainable Development – Existing Buildings have now been combined into the one category, Award for Best Sustainable Development.
This award recognises and rewards innovation and encourages the demonstrated application of sustainability practices that reduce a project or existing building’s eco footprint.
Eligible entrants can be either new or existing developments which are less than 5 years old (or have been occupied for three years since refurbishment) which have been operating for at least one year as at 31 December 2022 (the development or refurbishment must have been completed by 31 December 2021).
The award is open to members of the Property Council of Australia only and who have not won this award category previously. Innovation in your responses should be clearly expressed.
All finalist projects for the National Awards will automatically be entered into the running for their State Development of the Year Award. The State Development of the Year winners will be announced prior to the National Awards Gala Dinner.
The State Development of the Year is determined by the National Awards judging panel and is awarded to the highest scored development in that state.
